San Francisco: Hotels and Parking in the Marina District
Parking can be a challenge in the Marina District. Meters are monitored on weekends, so either bring plenty of quarters, or use your credit card to pay for an extended time period on Sundays.
We will break every two hours in case someone needs to feed the meter or move their car.
There is a parking garage at the corner of Lombard and Fillmore, about three blocks from the corner of Union and Fillmore.
You can park free at Crissy Field/Marina Green at the bottom of the Fillmore hill. It’s about a 30 minute walk to 2964 Fillmore.
When you search for hotels, know that the corner of Union and Fillmore, near Lombard, is within walking distance of a large number of hotels on Lombard St. They vary in price, and many are quite reasonable. Two hotels within walking distance are listed below. There are many others on Lombard St. near Fillmore.
